Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Colorado

July 2012 hike down one of the unmarked trails that heads into the canyon from the ridge near the visitor’s center. Actually, you’ll notice the visitor’s center is in the first photo. Overnight camping in rustic sites on the canyon floor and fly fishing are a must, and the parks service has nice bear bag ropes available so you can’t go wrong.
